October 20, 2019 Task Force to recommend Clovis EAS provider list A six-member task force has been named to determine the Clovis EAS providers that advance to the Department of Transportation. This task force met with the five airline companies that submitted both EAS and Alternative EAS bids to the Clovis City Commission on October 16, 2019. This group will go over the bids and make their recommendation and rankings of who they feel should be put forth to the Department of Transportation (D.O.T). Boutique Air put forth 4 options for daily and weekly routes to DFW, Albuquerque and Denver. No other airline offered as many options as Boutique Air. The Task Force recommendation and ranking will take place during the Clovis City Commission meeting at 4:00 PM MST at the North Annex - Clovis Carver Library. The six member Task Force is comprised of Chairman Rube Render - City Commission; Jonathan Justice - Clovis Chamber of Commerce; James Burns - Cannon Air Force Base, Committee of Fifty; Donnie Llewellen, Clovis Aviation Board; Vince Tyson, Clovis Industrial Development Commission/EDC; Debbie Abrego, Southwest Cheese. The Task Force is open to and seeking public comment on service providers.
