February 07, 2019 Boutique Air Announces Renewal Air Service Proposal for Carlsbad, New Mexico to Albuquerque and Dallas/Fort Worth FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: February 7, 2019 Carrier submits bid to renew flight service in new DOT agreement SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Boutique Air announced today that it has submitted its service proposal to the Department of Transportation (DOT) to renew flight service in Carlsbad, New Mexico and is excited to continue as its air service provider. Boutique Air commenced service June 1, 2015 and conducts 36 scheduled flights every week, connecting Cavern City Air Terminal (CNM) in Carlsbad with Albuquerque International Sunport (ABQ) and Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). Boutique Air has grown close with the community, establishing lasting relationships with passengers and continues to see a bright future by staying in Carlsbad. Michael Burch, a frequent flyer with Boutique Air said today, "It’s so convenient to fly into Dallas from Carlsbad; I often have schedule changes and the airline always accommodates me." When veterans had healthcare appointments late in the day, Boutique Air updated their flight times to accommodate their medical care needs. Similarly, Sandia National Laboratories’ workday ran longer than initial flight service provided. In response, Boutique Air took action to accommodate business travelers and provided them with a return trip home. Boutique Air listened when passengers asked for a direct phone line by adding a local number (575-489-8480), which enables customers to speak directly with Carlsbad-based customer service members. United Airlines and American Airlines partnerships enable greater choice and convenience when traveling.
